The Five-day Weekend

Oh yeah!Next week being spring break, I will not have school. That right there is awesome.

However, the schedule at work is also changed to reflect that it is spring break, and as a result, I do not go to work until next Wednesday, giving me five days of no school and no work. So, I get to catch up on some movies I have not seen yet and do some other top secret stuff.

Maybe if “top secret” meant sleep in a lot…

For my birthday, I was lucky to receive Season 2 and Season 3 of 24 on DVD. Over approximately the past week, I have been entertaining myself with something of a 24 marathon.

I had previously seen most of Season 2, but I missed some important parts (such as the ending), so it was nice to finally see that. Season 3 was also excellent, but noticably darker than even the first season.

The Breakdown:

  • Season 2
  • Season 1
  • Season 3
  • Season 4

Disclaimer: This may change, pending the conclusion of Season 5.

On The Job

This week I am starting at a new job in one of the University’s major computer labs. It’s not a particularly stressful job, since 90% of the time things run smoothly and I get to do just about whatever. But it does involve me getting up about 6:30 in the morning to get to work, which has been something of a change from my normal get-up-around-8 routine.

Holiday Time

Christmas was yesterday, and this is the last week of 2005. Things are slow around these parts, but that can be blamed on the holiday season. Too bad people don’t put things on sale for Christmas Eve instead of Boxing Day. That would have helped me get my Christmas shopping done.
