Wow, summer is here already. That’s neato.

I finally got to see the new Harry Potter movie, if you’ve read my review (see below). I was really tired when I wrote it, so it may not make a lot of sense, but hopefully it conveys my opinion that it really is an awesome movie. I was reading an article at Salon.com written by the cinematographer. Some really hard work went into that film.

In other news, my news script is coming along. I am going to be working on the news part of it next, followed by the comments. It is still quite a ways off, but I hope to get it scraped together enough to do a public beta-test. Something I am worried about is the speed of the MySQL server and PHP. We’ll just have to see what kind of optimizing we can do when we get that far.

Lastly, Doom 3 coming out August 3^rd? Yes, please.

Wow, it seems I haven’t actually written something worthwhile on this page for some time now. I’ve been doing a lot of drooling, apparently.

Just to get my UT2K4 info out of the way, the game finally arrived today, so unless something else radical happens, I probably won’t make updates about it anymore 😉

In real life we just got off spring break. I’ve got a few tests coming up next week, so I am getting my studying in every now and again. I am having a tough time keeping up in History, though. I never remember to read the online textbook over the weekend so I am caught up on Mondays. I have two exams to take in that class and a book review due in a few weeks so we’ll just have to ride it out and see how it goes.

In other news, I have drafted plans for how I want this website to work. I started prototyping a few aspects of it. It looks to be quite a chore. It will be PHP+MySQL powered and be pretty flexible, but not overly complicated. It might even look professional ;P Expect to see test versions every now and then as I get further and further along.

Well I am about to crack open my copy of UT2K4. You may not see me for some time.
